You Don’t Know Me

You may have seen me as angry

You may have seen me as happy

You may have seen me for whatever you saw

But whatever you saw you don’t know

Because the truth is- you don’t know me

You never took the time

So you can think whatever you want

But trust me I’ll be fine

They say that ignorance is bliss

But you haven’t had a slice of mine

Boredom cursed by a spell of disinterest

You were scared to cross the line

You don’t know me

And by the way you’re acting

With that, I’ll be just fine

You don’t know me

And for all of your slacking

You’ll never have a taste of my pie

You don’t know me

And as you can see

Your perception of me is merely a lie
